- How to evaluate and prioritize digital advertising options when working within a budget that needs to deliver a positive return on investment
About the Presenters
Justin Belleme and Sarah Benoit are co-founders of JB Media Institute, a digital marketing training company started in 2012 that provides a wide variety of educational services for businesses, individuals, and organizations looking to increase their online marketing skills, stay up to date with trends in the field, and participate in peer and community support. The Institute offers a wide variety of consulting, training, and strategic marketing services for companies and organizations of all sizes throughout the United States including: online classes, a monthly peer mentoring and mastermind group, public workshops, customized private training, and consults and coaching packages.
A serial entrepreneur, Justin founded his first business, AshevilleNow.com, an online magazine about the Asheville area for visitors in 2003. He continued to work in tourism marketing, holding interim positions in online marketing with the Asheville CVB and the City of Asheville in 2010 before launching Internet marketing agency JB Media Group in 2011. As Director of Strategy, Justin oversees the strategic direction for projects in SEO, online advertising, social media, event marketing, email, and partnerships/influencer marketing for clients ranging from the Eastern Band of The Cherokee Indians to the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area, Holistic Holiday at Sea and the Social Capital Markets conference. He and Sarah have also provided strategic consulting and training for Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.
The recipient of the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, Justin is a strong advocate for entrepreneurship. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce and is a previous Board Chair for the NC Stage Company. In early 2019 Justin led the acquisition of the travel and vacation planning website RomanticAsheville.com.
Sarah has worked in the web design, SEO, and social media fields since 2003 and has been teaching classes on related subjects since 2006. As President of Creative Original, she has built a wide variety of small business websites over the years. As Co-founder and Lead Instructor for the JB Media Institute, Sarah Benoit leverages her years of experience as a digital marketing strategist to create timely, relevant, and engaging training content. Sarah speaks, trains, and presents on digital marketing topics at conferences and events throughout the year in the Southeast and beyond. She has recently led two other webinars for Explore Asheville: “How To Promote New Experiences To Your Audiences” and “Website Usability Best Practices.”
Sarah received the 2017 Woman Executive of the Year award from WomanUp at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. She was inducted into Asheville’s 40 Under Forty in 2013 and is a graduate of Leadership Asheville 31. She is also a 2017 graduate of the Hive Global Leaders program.
