Explore Asheville and local area hotels joined forces together as “Team Asheville” at the December AENC (Association Executives of North Carolina) annual trade show. The team encouraged attendees to visit all of the Asheville booths to complete an Asheville Passport.
For every completed passport, the team would build and donate a “Care Kit” in an effort to give back to our community.
In total, 50 care kits were assembled by partners and taken to Western North Carolina Rescue Mission, which cites “Rescue, Recovery and Restoration” as their ministry — meeting people in crisis where they are, caring for them with dignity, and then restoring them to healthy, productive lives.
