What Our Partners Say About Explore Asheville CVB

Over the past three years, anywhere from 30-80% of my business has come through ExploreAsheville.com.

The CVB has been a pleasure to work with. It’s like having a high-power PR firm working for you — for free!

Alan Muskat

Owner, No Taste Like Home

The CVB programs are so helpful for my business. It’s what allows me to stay in business and thrive as much as I have. The partnership between the CVB and RAD [River Arts District] — bringing visitors to us as well as helping with the infrastructure — is vital to us being able to continue as an arts district.

I would jump at the opportunity to participate in any initiative that the CVB brings to us because I know from experience that it has great intentions, it’s well designed, and it’s funded with a purpose and that is to bring people here and that benefits us straight up.

Jael & Dan Rattigan

Owners, French Broad Chocolates

We rely on the CVB to get people to Asheville. Once they are in Asheville we market to those people that have come here as a result of the CVB’s marketing programs, and that is a perfect relationship for us to have. The CVB understands how to support us.

Ken Stamps

CEO, Navitat Canopy Adventures

There are more than 200 artists working and exhibiting in the River Arts District. It’s a tremendous responsibility to run an organization in charge of marketing and promoting that large and diverse a group, but with the help of the CVB we have continued to stay in the public eye and at the top of the list for things to check out in Asheville. I have turned to the staff at the CVB many times and I continue to use them as a sounding board when I am trying to connect to the bigger picture of what IS Asheville. I count my connections at the CVB as one of my strongest assets!

Many thanks to the CVB and all their staff all that you have done to assist businesses in Asheville. As a new business, the CVB has been a valuable asset for our growth – we appreciate you!!!

Scott Woody, Owner
Isis Music Hall & Kitchen

It has been such an honor and privilege to work with you all on the music initiative. Thank you for being so inclusive and thoughtful about how you are building this campaign. It really does mean the world to all of the hard working people in our industry. I look forward to continuing our work and creating great things together!

One of the most valuable services that the Asheville Convention and Visitor Bureau’s marketing team provides for our local small businesses is connecting their stories to national media. Here in West Asheville we have family-owned, small businesses with limited resources for making connections with major publications, but with stories worthy of that coverage. The ACVB team works to bring these stories to national writers and supports our small businesses by reaching markets that would otherwise be inaccessible. Thanks, and keep up the great work.

We appreciate everything the CVB does for our community. It is always wonderful to see the increase in business from groups that the CVB is able to bring to Asheville. I especially remember the SHRM conference in ’16. We saw a definite increase in foot traffic due to the number of people that converged on Asheville. Thank you for all that you do!

The listings in the newsletter for our events make a huge difference in attendance. You help us reach a larger audience than we otherwise could. Also the funding we received from the Tourism Product Development Fund was essential to our ability to build the new river access at Pearson Bridge.

Working with the Asheville CVB has been a win-win-win proposition for the ABYSA. The CVB provides planning and marketing resources for our events that bring out of town guests and they have supported our field development efforts through the Tourism Product Development Fund. Helping our soccer visitors find accommodations through an event dedicated website page and direct customer support, and helping them find fun activities for their down time, are just two examples of how the CVB helps ABYSA take event hospitality to a higher level. This has led to growth of our own tournaments and a competitive advantage in convincing event owners to host their tournaments in Asheville.
