It’s a true family holiday tradition: The Omni Grove Park Inn National Gingerbread House Competition, a magical experience full of wonder, awe and delight enjoyed by the very young to the very young at heart.

But it’s not just one of the nation’s most celebrated and competitive holiday events. It’s also an opportunity to support area nonprofits.

That’s because a portion of parking fees collected throughout the holiday season for guests coming to enjoy the gingerbread competition are donated to a variety of charitable organizations.

Since the inception of the Holiday Parking Program in 2013, the Omni Grove Park Inn has contributed more than $535,000 to Western North Carolina nonprofits.
