Thanks to the generosity of Omni Grove Park Inn and Omni Hotels & Resorts, enough funds to pay for more than 545,000 meals were donated to MANNA FoodBank in 2019.
The program is called Say Goodnight to Hunger and here’s how it works: For every reservation booked by guests, Omni Hotels & Reports makes a donation to Feeding America, which is then routed to a local brand of the organization nearest to the hotel or resort where the guest will be visiting – in this case, MANNA FoodBank.
With its acronym that stands for Mountain Area Nutritional Needs Alliance, MANNA FoodBank is a private, not-for-profit service organization that links the food industry with more than 200 partner agencies in 16 counties of Western North Carolina.
