Webinar: Family Forward NC COVID-19 Rapid Response Program
Monday, January 25, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
A free event offering support to help employers & working parents build resilience during & after the COVID crisis
How can family-friendly workplace benefits strategically support the reopen or ramp-up of businesses? What can businesses do to help employees return faster and more fully?
And how can businesses establish a culture of ongoing safety and security to attract and retain talent now and in the future? What are ways that business owners can support the health and well-being of children and their families?
For answers, Explore Asheville with other partners sponsored a webinar presented by Family Forward NC, an innovative initiative to improve children’s health and well-being and keep North Carolina’s businesses competitive.
Presenters with Family Forward NC shared the organization’s COVID-19 Rapid Response program, which provides no-cost access to HR experts to assist employers in identifying industry-appropriate, family-friendly workplace benefits during re-opening/retooling. The presentation also included an interview on family-friendly workplaces with Asheville’s Katie Button, CEO and Executive Chef of Katie Button Restaurants.
This support helps employers and working parents build resilience during and after the COVID crisis. Rapid Response focuses specifically on small business, hospitality and manufacturing, but recommendations and tools can apply to other industries as well.
