Industry partners joined us for an update from the sales and marketing teams:

• The marketing team has been rolling out new initiatives, creative and campaigns. Marketing Vice President Marla Tambellini shared campaign strategies and integrated seasonal marketing efforts from the past several months and showcased the messaging in-market now aimed at generating first quarter visitation. Partners learned about adjustments to the spring media campaign in response to unprecedented political advertising and view new versions of the brand TV spots.
• Dianna Pierce, Vice President of Sales, provided insight on the strategies used by the group sales team to entice meetings, motorcoach tours, sports and social groups to host their events in the Asheville Area, and the results of the efforts. New this year is the Elevate My Meeting Campaign, integrating direct mail, on demand video and targeted eblasts.
