BREAKOUT OPTION – MARKETING

“The Voice of the Visitor”
By Chris Cavanaugh

Asheville’s own Chris Cavanaugh, president of Magellan Strategy Group, presented the findings of the 2019 Voice of the Visitor report from PGAV Destinations and H2R Market Research. This groundbreaking national research, which tracks Americans’ travel behavior and forecasts future plans, reveals a dramatic shift in the demographics of attraction visitors and a deep desire to visit places that make them feel welcome and relaxed. Chris reflected on what these trends mean for Asheville as a destination and the impacts they could have upon your business.

BREAKOUT OPTION – SALES

“The Winning Edge in Sales”
By Steve Rudolph

This fast paced, highly interactive sales workshop focused on the small, but important sales habits that lead to predictable, out-sized results. Whether they were a tenured sales leader or a small business owner, manager or sales rep, attendees left with practical sales tips and best practices that foster long-term relationships versus short-term transactions. The sales mantra driving this workshop is – “Sales is something we do with and for people, not to people.”
