40 Local Hotels Collaborate to Raise Funds for Hunger Relief in WNC

Sweet Dreams, Full Plates, a major collaboration launched in 2017 by local hotels in the Asheville area as a response to the issue of hunger in Western North Carolina, took place throughout the month of September, coinciding with national Hunger Action Month.

In 2019, more than 40 area hotels competed against one another to raise money for MANNA FoodBank, the regional food bank located in Asheville and serving the 16 Westernmost counties of North Carolina.

The third annual Sweet Dreams, Full Plates campaign set a new record this year – donating an incredible $59,100 dollars in September to support MANNA FoodBank’s mission.
