In honor of National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW), May 4–10, Explore Asheville is excited to celebrate travel’s essential role in driving our national and local economy, cultivating vibrant communities, and forging connections.

In celebration, Explore Asheville is delighted to invite you to the second annual Heroes of Hospitality Awards Luncheon at the Omni Grove Park Inn, May 5, 11:30am–2pm.

The Explore Asheville Heroes of Hospitality Awards will recognize individuals who provide excellent hospitality and customer service to visitors and residents in Asheville and Buncombe County. Join us and your industry colleagues as we honor the dedication and hard work of the front-line staff and volunteers in the travel and hospitality industry.

100% of ticket and sponsorship sales for this event will benefit the Explore Asheville Workforce Development program. This initiative works with Asheville and Buncombe County students to:

1. Inspire by increasing awareness and aspirations through exposure to partner experiences and industry networking.
2. Train by developing skills and confidence through hands-on learning opportunities and internships,
3. Educate by fostering growth and advancement through scholarship funds and career connections.
