Ritchie Rozzelle joined the Explore Asheville team as Director of Content in January 2020, with responsibility for creating content that highlights the stories ingrained in the character of Asheville and Buncombe County..
Ritchie is a North Carolina native and has lived in West Asheville since 2012. He came to Explore Asheville following marketing and content positions at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Earth Fare, among others.
For the four years prior to joining Explore Asheville, Ritchie worked in the field of transportation planning at the French Broad River Metropolitan Planning Organization, where he focused on alternative transportation options and coordinated the Strive Beyond Drive campaign.
