The Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority would like to take this opportunity to thank those who participated in the Destination Product Development Charrette in May 2006.

This document is intended to be a guide for future tourism development in the community and is not an endorsement of specific projects. The report provides recommendations on projects that could create synergistic opportunities for the community. As designed in the legislative guidelines that created the Tourism Product Development Fund, all projects must go through the funding process and demonstrate feasibility and can only be considered for funding if the TPDF Committee forwards recommendations to the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority Board which must approve final funding.
